Christmas Lights – 1st Evening

I thought I could spend an evening taking photos of all of the beautiful Christmas lights throughout our lovely community. Well, I was partially right… I did spend an evening, but I only got through about half of Camp Florida before the mosquitoes about bit my ankles off and I could no longer hold the camera up to take the photos.

Here are the pics I was able to get last night. Click on a photo to see it full size. More to come as I’m able to get back out there!

Merry Christmas!

Bonfire at Skinny Dipping Point!

A great group of CF volunteers cut down a decayed tree yesterday at Skinny Dipping Point. The tree had been further damaged by hurricane Ian, and it presented a safety hazard for the folks who love to spend time there. Last evening, they held a bonfire in the stump and invited everyone. It was a beautiful evening with about 25 folks warming up by the fire in the strangely cold weather.

This area is now safe to use and enjoy!

Spooky and Spectacular

On the evening of October 29th our Club House was transformed in to a spooky and spectacular haunted house! There was a chill in the air and the spirits were alive and well. The decorations were fantastic and the comradery was welcomed by all. It was so nice to be able to gather and enjoy the evening visiting with our Camp Florida friends. We had special guests join us, even the Wizard of Oz cast. Enjoy the attached photos of many of our residents and even our “out of this world” guests.
