Spotlight on a Weekend of Music, Food, and Dancing!

Labor Day Weekend at Camp Florida included some special moments. Saturday night was a Social Get-together with music, food, and line dancing. There was quite a crowd, and they all had a wonderful time. Many thanks to Lee and Bill for putting this special event together!

Sunday night featured Karaoke courtesy of Bert and Rose. We didn’t have a lot of singers, but they were all great. It was a really fun time!

Finally!

For all of you who have been eagerly awaiting the return of our Bald Eagles…the wait is over! At least for one of them. Late this evening–just at sundown–this Eagle flew onto the nest tree. It appears to be Freedom, the male, although it’s difficult to tell for sure because of the low light at that time (I had to do quite a bit of work to make this photo halfway presentable). The hoot of a Great Horned Owl was also heard in the area. Coincidence? Exciting!!!
