Thom’s birthday festivities started on Sunday with lawn games at Skinny Dipping Point, and Calla was the star beanbag baseball player. Happy hour followed at Thom and Rockie’s place. Calla was the cake baker extraordinaire!
We would like to thank our CFR friends who took the time to come out and support our event. We had several good singers and we particularly enjoyed Marylou Wood and Marilyn Quigg who sang a beautiful rendition of “Take Me Home, Country Roads”. Mike Lowe led us in closing the show with God Bless the USA. A big thank you to Patti for sending out the flyer announcing the event and to Carol Delynko for posting the pictures.
We would like to extend a big thank you to all of the Residents and Renters who came out on Saturday May 27th to sing and enjoy the music. Songs covered all different genres and we ended with a sing-a-long of “God Bless the USA” in celebration of Memorial Day. We had many singers and dancers–a real fun night. We received so many thank you emails, and people are still talking about how much fun they had. Rose and I are talking and planning the next event. We’ll send out a communication as soon as we have a date.
