Camp Florida Entertainment Committee Guidelines

  • Entertainment (Chairperson: Nancy Johnson, Co-Chair Cindy May)
  • The Entertainment Committee is responsible for previewing, booking, and presenting entertainers at entertainment shows at Camp Florida Property Owners association.
    • On a regular basis the Entertainment Committee, which consists of 4 to 6 members, attends showcases or private shows looking for talent.
    • The committee members compare notes with positive and negative comments concerning the acts to make the decision on shows for future entertainment events, preview and make the decision on the shows for future entertainment events.
    • They work with a booking agent or individual entertainers and complete contracts with each of the entertainers.
    • They make arrangements for seating assignments and ushers who greet you upon entering the Club House.
    • Typically, there are six shows beginning in January and ending by the end of March.
    • On a specific date in March tickets for the following year are sold on a first come first serve basis in the POA office. The remaining tickets are sold at the POA office ticket sales throughout the season.
    • The cost of the tickets varies from year to year. The 2027 Performance Series season tickets are six shows for $65.00.
    • The seating capacity is 330. Limited individual tickets are sold at the door the night of the show.
    • The Camp Florida 2027 Performance Series includes the following entertainers.
      • January 9, 2027 – Rockin’ Pianos
      • January 23, 2027 – Vocalitas
      • February 13, 227 – Sid Davis
      • February 27, 2027 – Warman Trio
      • March 13, 2027 – Mary Ellen Depetrillo
      • March 27, 2027 – Rich Wilson
  • Tickets can be purchased in the POA office Monday through Friday from 10:00am – 12:00 noon.
