Camp Florida POA Election Committee Rules & Regulations

  • The Election Committee chairperson is responsible for maintaining the CF Quorum Attendance Requirement, Voting Registration, and ensuring that the log is up to date with all current Property Owners in good standing.
  • The Camp Florida POA Elections are held on the Third Saturday in February which is the same day as our annual meeting. This is referred to as the Property Owners meeting.
  • Candidates interested is seeking a position on the board must be a property owner in good standing.
  • Each candidate must submit a 100 word or less Letter of Intent with head shot picture of the candidate. All applications must be submitted by the end of January or as designated by the Election Committee.
  • Board member terms are for two years.
  • You are only voting for members on the board.
  • The POA officers are determined by the newly elected board members after the election.
  • Nominations will be accepted from the floor at the POA meeting on the first Thursday in February. Candidates will be introduced to the property owners at this meeting and will address any questions the attendees may ask them.
  • The Election will be done electronically through the Election Buddy software which meets all security requirements that are applicable per the Florida State Statute 720 guidelines. All ballot information is encrypted. The ballots will be emailed and texted to the property owners that have supplied this information in our Property Owners directory approximately two weeks prior to the election date. Any owner that had requested election information to be mailed will receive the election packet by US mail.
  • Proxy votes must be submitted by Camp Florida property owners only.
